The wild west is a popular slot theme, however, you can throw some girls in the mix and enjoy the results. Embark on an adventure filled with gunfights between female characters and trade caravans, hit the spin button, and see the reels stop at bonus activating combinations!

Released back in 2015, Pistoleras features a simplistic visual design. The purple gradient background is decorated with flowers of a similar shade. The main dashboard has a mustard yellow trim while the symbols appear on a white background similar to the previous one. The controls are located at the bottom of the screen while at the top you get a big “Pistoleras” logo.

This is a regular Microgaming slot as it doesn’t feature any innovative mechanics. The reels just spin and stop one after the other. The saloon theme reminded us of NetEnt’s Dead or Alive slot but we missed the wild west tune.

Overall, the slot might not look like much but the gameplay is exciting. Some of the animations are pretty cool, guns blazing and all, and the payouts can be big at times.

How to Play Pistoleras

The game offers the classic 3 lines and 5 reels style. There are 25 paylines. Regarding the interface, there isn’t anything special about it but it is visually appealing which we rarely see on the provider’s other slots. Starting from left to right, you’ll find your balance followed by the stake option, win amount, autoplay, and last, the spin button.

The bet limits start from $0.25 ending at $250 meaning you can bet a minimum of $0.01 on each line. The autoplay feature has 4 preset options which are 10, 25, 50, and 100x.

We tested the slot for around 50 spins and ended up with a small profit. You can expect regular wins but they don’t award as much as the bonus features. We’d say it’s a great slot if you are on a small bankroll.

Moving on to the symbols, there are the usual card suits 10 – A which give the least winnings followed by the 3 female characters acting as the higher paying ones. These are a rifle-wielding brunette, a blonde with a revolver, and a red-haired girl with a hand short shotgun. You can also encounter the following special symbols:
