Deep inside the enchanted forest of Winland, the brave adventurer and his best friend embark on a journey to find the great tree of light so that they can eat the tastiest fruit in the world. Will you help them do it? Spin to let the adventure begin!
As soon as the game launches you will be bombarded by beautifully detailed animations. Starting at the left side of the screen, you’re going to notice Lupine the mouse and his flying buddy, Mino. The background features some kind of an enormous glowing rock as well as some trees. The symbols appear floating on the right side of the screen and disappear only to appear shuffled in the consecutive spins.
Moving on to the mechanics, if you take the way the symbols appear out of the equation then the game works just like any other conventional title with the only difference being that paylines can be formed both ways. Winning symbols become animated and trigger a short audio effect.
This isn’t the first we encounter an enchanted forest theme as this is a common way for many providers to add a touch of magic to their games. How to Play Tree of Light
The game consists of 3 rows and 5 reels with 10 fixed paylines that pay from both ways. As for the controls, you will find them at the bottom of the screen giving you the ability to set the preferred betting amount, enable the autoplay function, spin, or enter the in-game menu for further information and gameplay customization.
Tree of Light features 4 low paying and 4 high paying symbols. The first come in the form of runestones followed by a lizard, a bull, a cheetah, and an owl.
The slot’s special symbol is:
- Wild – This symbol will substitute for all others except for the scroll. It can only appear in the random event or during the free spins feature.
- Scroll – This symbol appears randomly outside of the reel area. Landing one in the main game will award 7 free spins.

Tree of Light Features
Just like most of Evoplay’s titles, this one doesn’t only have its graphics as its strong suit. That said, its special features are fairly intuitive as on very rare occasions will you find similar ones in a slot game. Let’s check them out.
At the start of each spin, the main character will move towards the right. The feature will be triggered only if he encounters a question mark while doing so. The random event triggers and Mino will fly onto the reels, turning a couple of random low paying symbols into wilds. The random event and the scroll symbols can’t both occur in the same spin.
Getting a scroll symbol to land on the main reel area will trigger the feature awarding 7 free spins. At the beginning of the free spins mode, a magic pattern will appear as an overlay on top of certain symbols. Completing the first magic pattern (by forming winning combinations on the overlay) will award 5 free spins while completing the second one will award 3 more for a maximum of 15 total spins.
The 3 magic patterns are:
- Magic Pattern 1 – The three middle reels synchronize after each free spin always showing the same combination of three symbols.
- Magic Pattern 2 – The three middle reels synchronize and 2 random low paying symbols turn wild after each spin.
- Magic Pattern 3 – The three middle reels synchronize and 2 random low paying symbols turn wild and expand over the reels after each spin.
Completing the third magic pattern will activate the bonus game. In the beginning, you will be prompted to choose one of three fruits from the tree of light. Each fruit will award a multiplier between 2x and 4x. The total free spin winnings are then multiplied by that multiplier and awarded as a cash prize.
