Microgaming tends to stick to the same script when it comes to their range of film slots. There are three “features” in this game, and only one of them requires the scatters to activate it. The other is randomly triggered, while one is a nice add-on, but adds nothing exciting to the game at all. Let us take a closer look at them…
Microgaming first started experimenting with the achievement mode at the time that T2 debuted. Essentially, it lets you keep track of the best combos you have landed (as achievements).
However, it adds little to the game, and can barely be considered a feature of any kind.
Triggered via the T-800 Vision add-on or three or more scatters, this bonus offers a total of 10 free games either way. In the feature, there is an extra row added to the reels.
What this now means is that there are 1,024 ways to win available, as opposed to the default 243 ways to win. The T-1000, liquid metal Terminator can also appear here. He can transform himself into another character (as in the film) and doing so could potentially see you snap up greater wins.
Note that unfortunately, this is not a bonus spin mode which can be retriggered while in play. Once it is over, you will return to the base game.
This randomly triggered bonus will invoke memories of the film. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s T-800 is scouting around, and his red vision will target selected symbols on the reels.
