How to Play Spiña Colada
The game has 3 lines and 5 reels with 25 paylines. The controls can be found at the bottom of the screen. From left to right you’ll see the lines indicator, coin value, cash/coin bet, max bet option, spin button, autoplay function, last win amount, and your current balance. The sound, spin animation speed, and autoplay settings can be further customized by accessing the in-game menu.
The bet limits start at $0.1 (or 0.4 cents per line) while they are capped at $125 (or $5 per line). The game features medium-high volatility. That being said, during our test session we’d say it leans more towards a high volatility slot as we went 15 consecutive spins without a win but after that, we got 30x our bet.
The max win is roughly 3,000x your bet or around $400,000.
The game is equipped with 5 low-paying symbols which are all portrayed as sliced fruit. These are (in descending paying order) a strawberry, an orange, a kiwi, a pineapple, and a watermelon. The slot offers a few mechanics features as well as a few extra bonuses, all of which award free spins.
If you get 3 or more of the same symbol then they will freeze in place and the slot will respin. In fact, the slot will keep on respinning as long as you continue to land more of the same symbol.
If you get another winning combination during the respins, the side wins will be paid out immediately and the respins will continue, provided you landed on more of the original winning symbol. On the rare occasion you get 2 winning symbol combinations then the frozen one will be the highest paying of the two.
At the top of the screen, you will find four multipliers. These are located above reels 2-5 and they will apply a multiplier equal to the number of columns filled with frozen symbols up to a maximum of 5x. This doesn’t apply to side wins.
The feature caps can appear randomly at any point throughout the base game spins. There are four of them and every time one appears the associated bar will increase by one level. Once it reaches level 4 you will be awarded 4 free spins with that feature cap’s effect applied. Every time you load up the game the “Full Line” cap feature will be already at level 1 by default. 2nd Chance (Blue Cap)
1 or 2 winning symbols will be placed on the reels after the spin so that you are guaranteed at least a 3-of-a-kind win. If you already have a winning line then the effect will be applied to the first non-winning respin, placing 1 frozen symbol on any available position so you get another respin.
Full Line (Green Cap)
Before any symbols appear, 5 symbols will be added to one of the pay lines so you get at least one 5-of-a-kind win.
Extra Wilds (Pink Cap)
If you don’t already have a winning line, 1 wild will be placed on reel 2 and 3 with the chance of landing extra wilds increased.
Guaranteed Win x3 (Yellow Cap)
Respins will be awarded until you get a winning combination. Also, a 3x multiplier is applied to the frozen symbol win. The max multiplier can be 15x if you fill all columns with frozen symbols (5x from the column multiplier and 3x multiplier by this feature).
