How to Play Mystic Hive
The game consists of 5 rows and 5 reels with 30 fixed paylines. The controls are located below the reel set allowing the player to set the preferred bet size, enable the autoplay feature, check out the paytable, or simply spin. Further customization is available through the in-game menu.
Mystic Hive features 4 low paying, 3 medium paying, and 2 high paying symbols. The first come in the form of card values J-A followed by blue, red, and purple crystals. The most rewarding symbols are the mushroom and the emerald.

Mystic Hive is quite a weird little game as you never really know what is going to happen in the next spin. Let’s check out the features and find out why that is!
With each spin, a firefly can appear around the Mystic Hive. The 3 types of fireflies are:
- Green – Summons a storm of other fireflies to surround the Mystic Hive improving the chances of collecting violet nectar
- Yellow – Awards a stacking multiplier that increases with the number of yellow fireflies surrounding the Mystic Hive. Its value is equal to the number of yellow fireflies +1. The multiplier applies only to the winning paylines aligned with a yellow firefly
- Red – These fill the nectar meter which triggers the free spins once it’s full. More red fireflies fill the meter faster
Fireflies can spawn randomly with every spin. They move one position clockwise per spin until they randomly leave.
When a red firefly spawns, each of the red fireflies surrounding the hive including the one that just spawned will fill the meter by 1 level. Once it’s full, 5 free spins will be awarded.
During free spins, one, two, or three nectar bursting spreading wilds will appear on the grid. Wilds will spread to adjacent cells with each spin and continue to do so until the end of the free spins.
