How to Play Sugar Pop 2 Double Dipped
The game consists of 7 rows and 7 reels. You can find the controls below the reels where dedicated buttons allow you to set the preferred bet size, double up, enable the autoplay function, check out the paytable, and spin. Sugar Pop 2 Double Dipped features 3 low paying, 3 medium paying, and 1 high paying symbol. The first come in the form of red, pink, and orange candy followed by yellow, green, and blue candy. The red heart candy is the most rewarding symbol of them all.
The game’s special symbols are:
- Candy Wild – This symbol is created by each winning cluster of 5+ symbols. It substitutes for all symbols except for the level up and scatter.

Betsoft has really outdone themselves by creating such an adventurous and fun slot. There is a lot to talk about feature-wise so let’s not spend any more time and dive right in.
This feature is triggered by 5 or more winning clusters. The more winning clusters, the more powerful the bomb. It can affect from 6 up to 20 symbols in its area of effect.
The bomb is stored until all other wins have been displayed. It’s then placed on the play area and explodes destroying the appropriate number of symbols, awarding a cash prize, and causing an additional cascade.
Getting a cluster of 4 scatter symbols will award 5 free spins. Any additional scatter symbol in the winning cluster will award an additional 2 spins.
By leveling up you can win cash prizes and unlock a series of special candy symbols. The number of level-up symbols required to advance to the next level increases by 2 for each level.
During the gameplay, a surprise egg can land on the board and after all the wins have been awarded it will reveal one random special candy symbol that has been unlocked up to that point.
The special candies and their effects are:
- Gumdrop (Level 1) – Absorbs all symbols of the same color before exploding.
- Caramel Chew (Level 5) – Travels around the reels destroying all symbols in its way.
- Candy Cane (Level 9) – Explodes all symbols in the same row and column.
- Lollipop (Level 13) – Shuffles all the symbols.
- Fizzy Pop Candy (Level 17) – Pops onto random candies on the board causing them to explode.
- Jelly Bean Cannon (Level 21) – Shoots jelly beans on the board that destroy the symbols they land on.
- Morphing Golden Wild (Level 25) – Substitutes for all adjacent candies except for level-up and scatter symbols.
- Sweet Hammer (Level 29) – Hits the play area up to 9 times causing some of the symbols to be removed from play.
After each win, the player has the option to double up by playing a heads or tails game. He can gamble the whole win or 50% of it. If he guesses correctly his win is doubled. He can then continue playing to double it up again. If at any point he loses, then all winnings gathered up to that point including those of the spin or feature that triggered the mini-game are voided.
