How to Play Vault of Fortune
The game consists of 3 rows and 5 reels with 20 fixed paylines. The controls appear below the reel set allowing the player to adjust his bet size, enable the autoplay function, or simply spin, with more options being available in the in-game menu.
Vault of Fortune features 4 low paying and 4 high paying symbols. The first come in the form of card suits followed by a Chinese vase, an Egyptian cat statue, a Faberge egg, and a king’s crown.
The game’s special symbols are:
- Wild – Represented by a lever with a red handle, the wild can substitute for any other symbol excluding the scatter to form winning combinations.
- Scatter – Represented by a mini cryptex device, landing 3 of these triggers the free spins feature.

Vault of Fortune hides a few special features up its sleeves. Let’s check each one of them out!
After each win, all winning symbols are removed and new ones drop down. Dropdown respins continue as long as new wins land. Starting with a default 1x win multiplier, each dropdown respin increases the win multiplier by 1x. This multiplier resets back to the default value as soon as a new spin occurs.
Even though they may appear as bog-standard wilds, if they are part of a winning dropdown, then they can expand to 6-high vertical symbols.
Landing 3 scatters will trigger the feature awarding 8 free spins while getting 4 or 5 scatters awards 12 and 20 free spins accordingly instead. The base game multipliers are carried into the free spins feature. The multipliers do not reset during the feature. Free spins can be retriggered.
