Razor Shark Slot Review
Playing around with sharks is always a dangerous game, but here at least the risks come with plenty of rewards. The maximum payout from this Push Gaming online slot is 50 000 times your bet, which should be enough to make you dare the open waters. On top of that, you get a nice selection of features and smaller wins to keep the game interesting.
Razor Shark is set in an underwater lagoon, with plenty of life teeming in the background. There’s more of it on the reels too, though the occasional shark tends to empty the settings a bit. The graphics are very fitting, and the animations come in abundance. Sound effects aren’t bad either, though the underwater settings sometimes make it a bit hard to hear what’s going on.
The 5×4 reels setup with just 20 paylines makes the game stand out, as you’d usually have three instead of four symbols per reel. Nevertheless, this is actually something that you’ll encounter in a lot of Push Gaming online slots, such as Blaze of Ra for example. If you’re looking for sharks you might want to try Mega Shark by Amatic or Shaaark! by NextGen Gaming.
There’s really no reason not to take a look at this slot. It works wonderfully on all devices, and even the interface is easy to use on mobile phones and such. The game offers extremely high wins, with a nice set of features to boost them even further. The theme is beautiful and in many ways a fresh one.
How to Play Razor Shark
First thing you gotta do is select your bet. This is made easy, just press the bet button and select from the dozen or so possible options.
You can go as low as 0.20 coins per spin, or as high as 100 coins per round in Razor Shark.
After this, you can just press play and watch as the reels roll through.
If you want to speed up the gaming a bit you can also select Autoplay. Here you simply need to select the number of spins, and whether or not you want the game to stop when you win or lose a set amount. As for the game, it’s a pretty standard online slot with 20 paylines, and five reels of four symbols each. Three to five of these are needed to score a win in the game.
The symbols in Razor Shark come in two casts. First off, you have everything the divers have left in the seabed, such as their oxygen tanks, masks, flippers and cameras. These pay out up 50 times the line bet. The higher-value icons are a collection of cool sharks, which are also probably the reason you find so much gear at the bottom of the sea. These pay up to 500 times your line bet for the best five symbol combination.
You’ll also run into two familiar special icons:
- Wild – A super shark of sorts, paying up to 1000 times the line bet and always substituting for all other symbols sans the scatter in the game.
- Scatter – An old sea mine that will blow up into free spins should a number of them land during a single round.

Razor Shark Slot Features
The special bonuses that come into play with Razor Shark are a combination of simple boosters, bonus spins and some extreme multipliers. This works quite well in conjunction with the general variance and the paytable wins. Obviously, you want to make it to the bonus rounds, but that doesn’t mean there wouldn’t be enough excitement on the basic rounds either.
This is something that can activate on each and every round you play in Razor Shark. The game will randomly place stacks of four mystery symbols on the reels, which will then activate the Nudge & Reveal Feature.
Once the mystery symbols show up they will nudge in place to cover the whole reel, one spin at a time. Each time they will reveal a new set of symbols at the end of the spin, giving a bigger chance of landing combos in Razor Shark game.
The mystery symbols can also reveal golden sharks, which launches another bonus feature.
Together with the bonus spins, this is the main bonus of Razor Shark slot game. The above golden sharks launch the feature. What happens next is that every mystery symbol position is covered by the sharks. They will then spin again, revealing either a bet multiplier or scatters.
The bet multipliers range between one and 2500 times your total bet, making payouts truly gigantic should you be lucky enough. Scatters, on the other hand, are used to launch the bonus spins. Three are needed as a minimum, with each scatter beyond that adding an extra bonus spin to the running total.
You can either launch the feature via the golden sharks, or by just landing scatters on the reels in the normal fashion. At the start of the bonus rounds, the second and fourth reel are immediately filled with mystery stacks.
A multiplier is applied to all wins, and it grows by one each time the nudge and reveal feature is triggered. The free spins will go on as long as there are mystery symbols on the reels. The Razor Reveal Feature can be triggered, but it will only award bet multipliers.
