Poisoned Apple is a visually appealing slot featuring a colorful magical forest as the background. The logo of the game can be found at the top of the screen alongside a 3-color bar and an average bet indicator. All 3 elements as well as the reels are encased in a wooden border. Colored gems can be found at the sides and if clicked, will highlight their associated payline.
Mechanics-wise, you get the classic format as all the reels spin together and stop individually in consecutive order. However, as you’ll later see, some symbols can be replaced for others.

The controls are located at the right side of the screen allowing the player to choose bet size, enable the autoplay and quickspin features, and switch on or off the music. Symbols-wise, the game has 4 low-paying and 5 high-paying ones. The first are represented by card values J – A while the latter come in the form of characters from the fairy tale including a lumberjack, a dwarf, the evil queen, prince charming, and Snow White.

Poisoned Apple Features
Instead of featuring a scatter or bonus symbol, the game is equipped with a different goal based way to trigger the free spins.
If a wild appears in any position of the middle reels, all other wilds found in reels 1 and 2 will be mirrored to the same position on reels 4 and 5 and vice versa.
As soon as you load up the game, different goals will be assigned to each level of the 3-color bar we mentioned in the introduction.
As soon as you reach one of the goals you will trigger the free spins mode. Based on which color’s goal triggered the feature you will get:
- 1-5 additional rounds
- 1-5 additional lines
- One of three additional features
The three features you can get are:
- Mirror Wild – All wild symbols are reflected in both vertical and horizontal axis.
- Sticky Wild – The usual wild symbol is replaced by the prince which turns into a sticky wild that remains in the same position it first appears on during the feature.
- Growing Wild – The Snow White symbol become wild and grows from the position it appears on all the way to the top row.
If none of the three additional features is activated, then the free spins will be used in the normal game behavior. Also, the free spins are played using the average bet and only use 5 paylines.
The free spins mode can be triggered by completing an epic goal from a list of goals consisting of a number of possible winning combinations like getting 3 big wins or activating the mirror wild feature 14 times etc.
