The game takes place in a pirate ship’s treasure room with the whole interface continuously moving left and right. At the top of the screen, you’ll see the game’s logo. Below that you’ll find the reels placed on a big window looking out at the open sea while at the right there is a treasure map.
The slot is equipped with the classic format as the reels spin altogether and stop individually in a consecutive fashion. Also, winning symbols will come to life via a quick repeating animation.

How to Play Pirates’ Plenty
The slot has 3 rows and 6 reels with 20 fixed paylines. However, the sixth reel has to be unlocked as it isn’t available from the start. The simple control interface can be found at the bottom of the screen. There you can select your bet size and enable the autoplay function. More options are accessible via a small control bar at the top of the screen.
Bets start as low as $0.20 and can go as high as $20.
Pirates’ Plenty is a high volatility slot so don’t expect to get regular small wins as you will most likely occasionally trigger big wins. That said, the maximum payout is 5,426x your total bet or around $108,000 if using the biggest possible stake.
The game consists of 4 low-paying and 5 high-paying symbols. The first come in the form of card suits while the latter are represented by a bottle of rum, a pair of pistols, a cannon, a pirate hat, and a skull and bones.
The game features quite a lot of special symbols as well. These are:
- Wild – The main wild symbol of the slot is a monkey. It can substitute for all paying symbols and only appears during the main game.
- Scatter – The slot’s scatter symbol is portrayed as an “Ocean Spins” logo. Getting 3 of it will award 10 free spins.
- Ghost captain – This is a special symbol that only appears during the ocean spins feature.
- Map – Every time it appears, the ship on the sixth reel will advance one position closer to becoming unlocked.
- Pirate ship – A wild symbol that can appear fully stacked with or without a multiplier.

The game is filled with extra features so pay attention because it’s easy to be confused. We sure did while testing it. Let’s take a closer look at each of them.
On top of acting as a regular wild symbol, the wild monkey will collect all the low-paying symbols from the reels allowing only high-paying symbols to take their place. The wild monkey remains at the same position as the last collected low-paying symbol. This feature isn’t available during ocean spins.
First and foremost, once the game loads up you’ll notice that the sixth reel is covered by a treasure map. To unlock it you must gather 50 map symbols. Once unlocked it will be available for the entirety of the remaining session. Map symbols won’t appear during the ocean spins.
This will become available once the treasure reel is unlocked. The feature introduces extra tall wild symbols that can cover the entire reel and can appear with a 2x, 3x, and 5x multiplier or without one.
Getting 3 scatters will award 10 free spins. During the feature, 3 sunken treasure chests sit above the reels. The ghost captain symbol can appear during any of those spins and reward you with 1 treasure chest key. You need 3 to unlock a chest.
Each fully unlocked chest will award additional free spins and transform one or more low-paying symbols into wilds for the remaining of the ocean spins feature.
