When any 1×4 character symbol fully covers the first reel the feature will be triggered causing all character symbols that match the expanded symbol found on the first reel to be held in place. The same will happen to any wild symbols found on reels 2-5. Reels 2 to 5 will start respinning and continue to do so as long as new matching characters or wild symbols land.
Getting 3, 4, or 5 bonus symbols will trigger the feature awarding 12, 18, and 24 free spins accordingly. At regular intervals, during the feature, the low paying symbols will be gradually removed from play thus improving your chances of hitting a winning combination of a higher value.
