Lost Vegas Slot Review
Lost Vegas is a zombie apocalypse-themed game, and there are plenty of those for you to choose from online. However, few of its competitors have the bite that the Lost Vegas slot does. You can choose between two game modes for a start, and the choice you make will directly impact the features you have at your disposal.
This is a game which has the eeriness of many voodoo-themed slots, the clever features of newer releases, and the traditional 243 ways to win payline format of legendary Microgaming developed games. All of those woven together creates an exciting atmosphere to play in, and a wealth of features for you to enjoy.
There is a lot to cover in Lost Vegas, so let us not waste time splitting hairs over graphics and symbols, when there are many features to discuss.
How to Play Lost Vegas
Lost Vegas uses the same generic wagering menu that most Microgaming slots offer. It will allow you to adjust your coins values and the number of coins bet per spin, but you cannot alter the 243 lines which appear in this 5-reel bet.
Bets are cheap, stretching from 0.30 up to 45.00 a turn.
The symbols which appear on the reels depends entirely on whether you play in Zombie Mode or Survivor Mode. However, both can offer the same top prize. That is set to around 2,155x a bet in this medium variance game. The RTP in Lost Vegas is marginally smaller than in other Microgaming titles, at just 95.77%.
Whichever mode you opt to play in, there are two symbols which are constant. These special icons include:
- Wilds – The wild symbol can substitute for all save for scatters and appears as the game’s logo.
- Scatters – The biohazard (toxic) symbol can trigger free spins when it appears three times or more on the screen.

Lost Vegas Slot Features
Before you spin, you need to choose to play either as a survivor or a zombie. The mode you pick will directly influence your game and the features you have available. There are two base game modifiers, and two bonus features available for each mode. Let us look at those next…
At any point in the base game, you may trigger a random bonus. There are two of these present in both the Zombie Mode and Survivor Mode alike. They include:
- Zombie Fist of Cash: The Zombie Fist of Cash mode delivers an instant win cash prize.
- Blackout Bonus: Here, the screen goes blank, and any high-value symbols are selected. These will deliver a cash prize. However, if you have just a single scatter on the screen when this mode begins, you will instantly trigger Lost Vegas’s free spin round.
In the Zombie Mode’s free game feature, you will prosper from an Infection modifier. Here, zombies that appear stacked on the reels will “infect” the reel for the duration of the round. They can turn single wilds into stacked wilds. Only once all five reels are fully wild, or once you have played with fifty free spins, will this bonus end. If you make it to the end of fifty spins, you will also prosper from a one-off, random cash prize. This round is the more favourable of the two features in the Lost Vegas slot.
If you trigger the free game round in Survivor Mode, any low paying icons you see on the reels will be collected and deliver a cash prize instead, courtesy of a Stash Mode. Once the bonus ends, you will pocket a prize based on all the accumulated symbols in your stash. You will have a finite number of spins with which to do this.
