If 3 or 4 symbols from the code land in the row indicated by the gold pointer there is a chance that a respin of the reel missing the code symbol will occur. If the respin is triggered with 3 symbols and a fourth one lands then a second respin is guaranteed. During the golden spins, respins are guaranteed for both 3 and 4 symbols.
During the regular game, if there are more aces in the top or bottom row there is a chance that the golden pointer will move to that row, triggering a second chance.
Getting five aces on the golden pointer row will award 10 golden spins and upgrade the cryptex code.
During the golden spins, with the cryptex code cracked, the player is awarded an instant prize, 3 bonus spins, and the code upgrades. When the highest paying code is reached it will remain for the duration of the feature.
The bonus spins and the payout of the highest paying code don’t change and are awarded each time the code is cracked. Each cryptex cash pays the same amount as 5 symbols line of the given type.
