Sticky Bandits proved to be such a successful title for Quickspin that they decided to have another crack at the Wild West-themed genre. Sticky Bandits: Wild Return is the game which aims to follow in the footsteps of its predecessor and leave a mark. However, is this sequel offering something wholly new, or more of the same?
From the second you open the Sticky Bandits: Wild Return game, you will be greeted by a different backdrop (inside a bar, instead of the desert this time), and more violent, rougher characters than in the game’s predecessor. There are also several other changes, such as colossal symbols, fewer paylines and cheaper stakes. On the upside, the jackpot is worth more.
Sticky Bandits: Wild Return, much like its predecessor, still lacks some of the pizazz found in fellow Western-themed titles like NetEnt’s Dead or Alive series, but it is a substantial improvement on what the original game had to offer.

Quickspin has reduced the number of lines you can play with in this sequel. You will only get twenty paylines spanning five reels.

- Scatter – Skulls can only show up on the first, third and fifth reels. You will need them on all five to trigger a free spin feature.
- Bonus – Slot machines appear on the fifth reel and can result in a mini spin when they appear.

Another new feature for this game is the use of colossal symbols. These can appear as 2×2 or even 3×3 symbols on the second to fifth reels. The use of such giant symbols should make landing wins in the game a touch easier.

Slot machines can appear on the fifth reel. When they do so, you will get one, two or three spins on what is known as the Quick Slot. This is effectively a mini game which could see you rather rapidly win up to 500x a bet.
The main bonus feature comes as a free spin round. To activate this round, you will need skulls on the first, third and fifth reels. When bandits pop up on the screen, they can shoot other symbols into wild symbols. If they shoot each other, the bandits may become sticky and remain in place for the duration of the round. Naturally, this has its perks if you manage to shoot a colossal wild, which then becomes sticky. You will only get seven free games to enjoy in this mode, so you’d better make the most of them.
