Samurais were warriors that played a significant role in Japanese culture and history. That said, what would happen if they could travel through time and face their enemies once again in different periods? This is what we’ll be experiencing in this slot review.

Visually, the game looks like a modern slot with great animations which are seamlessly combined with the historic vibes. In the background, you can see a big city that’s visible through a glass window while at the sides you’ll find columns of flowers. The reels appear floating in the center of the screen right below a futuristic fabricator.

Mechanically, the slot is a bit different from most ones available out there. The previously mentioned fabricator can randomly activate projecting a new reel into the reel set, increasing the available paylines and your chances of landing a win. 

Combining two completely different themes makes the slot fun and unique. If we had to compare it with another one that’d probably be Kaiju by ELK Studios.

How to Play Shogun of Time

The game consists of 3 rows and 4 (with the option to upgrade up to 5) reels with 81 to 243 ways to win. The controls can be found on the sides of the interface allowing the player to set the preferred bet size, switch on the autoplay function, spin, and more options available via the in-game menu.

Moving on to the symbols, you can expect to find 5 low paying and 5 high paying ones. The first are represented by card values 10-A while the latter come in the form of coins, a hand fan, chest armor, a Samurai helmet, and the logo of the game.
