Safari Slot Review

Buy a ticket and fly to Africa to experience a beautiful trip through the safari zone. Come face to face with all kinds of creatures, ranging from lions to chameleons, all fighting trying to survive in the hot wasteland they call home. Spin the reels and see them come to life in front of your eyes.

You are instantly welcomed by a sunset view of the safari zone with a few lone trees decorating the empty desert. The logo is located at the top of the screen and right below it, you’ll find the reels, each one with a transparent yellow backdrop.

As for the mechanics, all the reels spin together and stop one at a time in consecutive order. Any symbols that are part of winning combinations become animated and the slot’s music changes momentarily.

If you love the wild and want to get a quick glimpse of what a safari trip might feel like then hop on and give those reels a spin. Let’s see how you can play this slot.

How to Play Safari

Safari features 4 rows and 5 reels with 50 non-fixed paylines. The controls can be found at the lower part of the screen offering you the ability to customize your gameplay as you like. Active paylines and bet selection are only a couple of the many available options.

You can also activate the autoplay function and check the in-game menu for more tweaking possibilities. Active payline selection starts from 1 and goes up in increments of 5 up to a maximum of 50.

Bet limits start at $0.01 (1 payline, minimum line bet) and go up to a maximum of $500. Safari is a medium volatility slot with a maximum base game win of $10,000.

Moving on, this slot offers 6 low-paying and 5 high-paying symbols. Starting with the least rewarding, they consist of a map, a suitcase, a compass, binoculars, a camera, and a hat. The highest paying symbols are represented by animals. These are a zebra, a rhino, a buffalo, an elephant, and the final and most rewarding one, a lion.

Special symbols include:

  • Wild – The slot’s wild is represented by a signed letter. It can substitute for any symbol except for the scatter to form winning combinations.
  • Scatter – The slot’s scatter is represented by a book with the continent of Africa embedded in gold on its cover. 3 of these will activate the free games feature.

Free Games
Risk Game

Endorphina sure likes the casino-like side of their slots as they offer a risk game on most of their titles.

This bonus mini-game will be triggered after each winning spin including the total win from the free games feature. The player can either choose to take his win as is or to try and gamble for a chance to double it.

If he decides to gamble, he will be transferred to a different screen. There he will be presented with a revealed dealer’s card and 4 hidden ones. The goal of the mini-game is to choose one of the 4 cards and its value to be higher than the value of the dealer’s card.

Every time the player wins, he doubles his profit and can either choose to continue gambling for up to a maximum of 10 rounds or cash out. If a draw occurs, the player can either choose to take another chance at gambling or take his winnings to exit the mini-game.

However, if the dealer wins then the player loses all gathered earnings up to that point including the bet of the spin that triggered the feature.

Last but not least, one of the hidden cards can be a Joker. This has a higher value than all other cards and thus always wins. The dealer’s card can’t be a Joker.
