From the moment you launch the game, you’re going to notice that the slot’s graphics are slightly outdated. Don’t be discouraged though as this doesn’t take a toll on the game’s entertainment factor. The story takes place near an Aztec temple covered with overgrown bushes and leaves from nearby trees. How to Play Rook’s Revenge
The game consists of 3 rows and 5 reels with 25 fixed paylines. As with other Betsoft slots, the controls can be found near the bottom of the interface enabling players to adjust the bet size, enter the in-game menu, enable the autoplay and max bet functions, or simply spin.
Rook’s Revenge features 4 low paying and 3 high paying symbols. These come in the form of Aztec patterns, gods, and various glyphs.
The slots special symbols are:
- Wild – The wild symbol only appears on reels 2, 3, and 4. It substitutes for all other symbols except for the scatter.
- Scatter – Represented by the golden mask, getting 3 of these in a winning combination on any active payline will activate the free spins feature. This symbol only appears on reels 1, 2, and 3.

Despite the game’s outdated graphics, its special features are as modern as it gets. Let’s take a look at them.
Located at the bottom right corner of the reel set there is a multiplier indicator. This multiplier increases with each new successive explosion in the same game round. The first explosion activates the 1x multiplier, the second a 2x multiplier, the third with a 3x multiplier, and last but not least the fourth explosion which comes with a 5x multiplier.
3 or more matching symbol combinations explode leaving space behind for new symbols to fall into. If the new symbols create a winning combination you will be paid out your winning multiplied by the current round’s multiplier.
Getting 3 scatter symbols will trigger the feature awarding 10 free spins. During the free spins, the 1x-2x-3x-5x exploding symbols multipliers are replaced with 3x-6x-9x-15x multipliers instead thus increasing your chances of a bigger payout. What’s great about this slot is that the free spins can be retriggered. This makes getting a larger win out of the feature even easier.
