This feature triggers only when there are 2 scatter symbols on the reels during a base game spin. The reels containing the scatter symbol remain in place while the remaining 3 reels respin. This feature can’t be retriggered in the same spin.
During the free games, the gold gorilla eyes symbol substitutes only for the normal gorilla eyes symbol. The feature is triggered when all the positions of any reel are fully covered with the gold gorilla eyes symbol. The player is randomly awarded one of the bonus cash prizes. The chance of triggering the feature is proportional to the total bet.
Getting 3 scatter symbols activate the free games feature awarding the player 10 free spins. Getting 2 or more scatters during the feature awards an additional 5 free spins.
