Every time a ghost symbol lands on the third reel it will trigger a ghost battle. The players will then proceed to zap the ghost that will drop a ghost wild into the ghost queue. Each ghost can take 3 zaps before it retreats. When the ghost’s health reaches zero then it gets captured and the player levels up.
Once the ghost battle ends, the leftmost ghost wild in the ghost queue is awarded on the next spin. Each ghost wild is awarded once and only one can trigger per spin. Changing the bet size will reset the ghost queue.
At level 1 only the 3x, 5x, and 10x ghost multiplier wilds are unlocked. Ghost wild symbols may also expand horizontally, vertically, or diagonally while others can be held for multiple winning combinations.
The equipment features can randomly trigger after any base game spin. At level 1 only the proton pack is available. In detail, the equipment features and their effects are:
- Proton Pack – Turns every instance of a chosen set of 2-4 low paying symbols to the most numerous high paying symbol.
- Ghost Sniffer – Reveals a hidden ghost symbol triggering the ghost battle feature.
- PKE Meter – Turns every instance of a chosen set of 1-4 low paying symbols wild.
- Ecto Goggles – Reveals an extra scatter symbol when there are already 2 scatter symbols on the reels to trigger the free spins feature.
- Psychogram Helmet – Reveals 2 extra scatter symbols when only one of them is present on the reels.
Getting 3 scatter symbols will trigger the feature awarding 5 free spins and 5 ghost wilds. The feature can be retriggered awarding 2 more spins and 2 extra ghost wilds. You can retrigger the feature up to a maximum of 25 free spins per bonus.
During the Zuul free spins, the ghost multiplier wilds can have a value of 25x, expand all ways, and be held for up to 5 winning combinations.
