As it turns out, the wild symbol has an ace hidden up its sleeve. If one or more wild symbols substitute in a winning combination in the base game or in the free spins bonus feature that win is doubled.
However, as with most great things in life, there’s a catch. Here, if the winning paying combination consists of wild symbols alone then the win won’t be doubled.
The feature is triggered by getting 3 or more scatter symbols. Upon activation, you will be prompted to choose a box in order to reveal the number of free spins awarded. Depending on the number of scatter symbols that triggered the feature, the box may contain the following:
- 3 scatter symbols – 5 to 15 free spins
- 4 scatter symbols – 8 to 18 free spins
- 5 scatter symbols – 10 to 20 free spins
The free spins start at a 1x default multiplier which increases by 1x on each spin up to a maximum of 50x. All free spin wins are multiplied by that multiplier except for wins consisting of 5 wild symbols alone.
